Reunite Kids

Reunite service terms

Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of NexoProof Reunite Kids, including the Family account, finder experience, Reunite QR items, support services, and purchases when ordering is enabled.

Effective date: September 22, 2026

1. The Reunite service

Reunite Kids helps a finder who scans an active Reunite QR reach the Family responsible for a Child Profile. A finder may also choose to notify the Family and, only with explicit device permission, share the finder device’s location.

Reunite is not a GPS tracker, emergency dispatch service, law-enforcement service, medical device, or guarantee that a missing child will be found or returned. In an emergency or immediate danger, contact the appropriate emergency or law-enforcement service.

2. Family accounts

The person creating or administering a Family account represents that they are legally permitted to manage the information and Reunite Items connected to that account. You are responsible for keeping account credentials, verification codes, recovery codes, activation material, and authenticated devices secure.

You agree to provide accurate contact information, maintain a reachable verified alert number, and keep finder-facing information appropriate and current.

3. Child Profiles and finder-facing information

The Family controls the information placed on a Child Profile. Do not upload content you do not have permission to use. Keep finder-facing content focused on information reasonably useful to reunification. Reunite may reject or remove content that is unlawful, abusive, deceptive, technically harmful, or inconsistent with child safety and privacy.

4. Reunite Items and QR codes

Each physical Reunite Item uses a unique opaque public QR identity. Do not intentionally copy, counterfeit, alter, obscure, scrape, automate, or misuse another Family’s Reunite QR. A lost, defective, replaced, returned, or compromised item may be revoked so its prior QR no longer exposes a Child Profile.

QR scanning depends on device cameras, connectivity, printing, wear, lighting, placement, browser behavior, and other conditions outside NexoProof’s complete control. Families should periodically confirm that an item remains physically readable and linked to the intended profile.

5. Messaging and location

Family mobile verification and finder alerts may be delivered through SMS. Message and data rates may apply. Consent and messaging details are described on our Messaging Terms and Privacy page.

Location is not collected merely because a finder opens the page. A finder must select the location-sharing action and grant browser permission. The finder may instead notify the Family without sharing location.

6. Purchases, shipping and plans

Product and plan pages may be visible before ordering is enabled. A displayed product does not mean it is currently available for purchase. When checkout is enabled, the checkout flow, product description and order confirmation control the specific item, price, shipping charge, destination and payment terms for that transaction.

Payment processing may be provided by Stripe or another disclosed payment provider. NexoProof does not require customers to send payment-card information to Reunite Support.

Returns and refunds are governed by the current Refund Policy. If recurring or annual paid plans are later offered, the plan description and checkout terms will state the billing period, renewal and cancellation behavior before purchase.

7. Acceptable use

You may not use Reunite to stalk, harass, impersonate, defraud, surveil without permission, collect finder or Family information for unrelated purposes, interfere with the service, probe for private records, defeat rate limits or security controls, distribute malicious content, or use a Reunite Item in violation of law.

8. Availability and changes

We work to keep Reunite available, but online services, mobile networks and third-party providers can fail. We may maintain, modify, suspend, restrict or discontinue part of the service when reasonably necessary for security, reliability, legal compliance, product evolution, or abuse prevention.

9. Intellectual property

NexoProof and its licensors retain their rights in the Reunite software, brand, designs, documentation and service. These Terms give you permission to use the service for its intended personal/family purpose; they do not transfer ownership of NexoProof intellectual property.

10. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how Reunite processes Family, Child Profile, finder, communications, security, fulfillment and support information.

11. Disclaimers and responsibility

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Reunite is provided on an “as available” basis. NexoProof does not promise that a QR will always scan, that a finder will act, that a message will always be delivered immediately, or that the service will prevent every safety incident. Nothing in these Terms limits rights or remedies that cannot legally be limited.

You remain responsible for ordinary child-safety planning, appropriate supervision, keeping Family contact details current, and deciding what information is suitable to make finder-facing.

12. Account suspension or termination

We may restrict or terminate access when reasonably necessary to address fraud, abuse, security risk, unlawful use, material breach of these Terms, or risk to children, Families, finders, or the service. A Family may delete its account through the product’s privacy controls.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as Reunite changes. The current version will be published at this URL with its effective date. Material changes will be communicated when required by applicable law.

14. Contact
